Windows Mail Email Setup

1.Open Windows Mail from your start Menu. When it opens go to Tools>Accounts.

2. Click the Add button.

3.Select Email Account and click Next.

4.Fill in your name, then click Next.

5.Enter your email address, then click Next.

6.Make your screen match ours. If you are using our Spam Filtering Service, then the incoming mail server name is newsmtp.tranquility.net.

7.Enter your usersname and password. The username is the email address without the “@tranquility.net” on it.

8.Uncheck the box for “Do not download my email at this time” and then click Finish.

9.Hightlight the newly created Mail account and then click the Properties button.

10.Make sure your email address and name are correct and then click the Servers tab.

11.Make sure Tranquility is spelled correctly in the server name fields. Place a check in the box for “My server requires authentication.” Click on the Connection tab.

12.Make your screen look like this and then click on the Security tab.

13.This screen should be blank. Click on the Advanced tab.

14.Make your screen look like this, then click the OK button. On the next screen click the Close button. You have now setup your email. If you have trouble checking your email then contact us.
