Mozilla Thunderbird Email Setup

1.Open Thunderbird. Go to Tools>Accounts.


2. Click the Add Account button.


3. Select Email Account and click Next.


4. Enter your name and email address, then click Next.


5.Make your screen match ours. If you are using our Spam Filtering Service, then the incoming mail server name is If this window has a box for Outgoing Server that is
These boxes should be filled in automatically and should be the same. Click Next.


6.Choose a name if you have more than one email address, otherwise click Next.


7.If you are using Tranquility to conect to the Internet then you are finished. If you are checking your email from a location that uses a provider other than Tranquility then continue to Step 9. If you have trouble checking your email then contact us.


8.Click Tools and then Account Settings.


9. Select Server Settings. Mark the option for TLS as shown. Click on Outgoing Server.


10.Highlight your Tranquility Server and then click Edit.


11.Place a check in the box for Use name and password. Then highlight the option for TLS if available. Click OK. Click OK. You have now finished setting up your email for advanced settings. If you have trouble checking your email then contact us.
