Description of Position:

  • Assist customers with non-technical and billing related questions
  • Distribute phone calls to appropriate representative when necessary
  • Place and manage internet orders
  • Create deposits and perform monthly credit card processing
  • Verify invoices of major wholesalers
  • Post sales customer follow-up surveys and satisfaction phone calls
  • Speak to initial sales inquiries and hand off to appropriate representatives
  • Manage internal marketing projects
  • Manage special projects as the need arises

Level 2 Support (L2S)

Description of Position:

Tranquility Level 2 Support manages the daily operation of the internet service ticketing system. Has experience and knowledge of field concepts and commonly-used troubleshooting concepts, practices, and procedures within the internet field such as Unix/Linux web and mail servers, LAN, WAN, Windows Server, small business routers and Windows workstations.

An L2S performs a variety of tasks while leading and directing the work of others. Primary job functions rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A L2S works under management supervision, reporting to Senior Management.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Respond/answer telephone calls (email, DSL, Wimax, and Fiber connections)
  • Respond/answer email inquiries sent to general inbox
  • Document, Track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution
  • Promoting or selling company products or services
  • Troubleshoot small business routers such as Linksys, DLink, Netgear and Cisco
  • Troubleshoot minor issues with Unix/Linux Web Servers
  • Manage time effectively without micro management
  • Self-starter

A successful applicant will possess the following requirements:

  • Experience with a ticketing/tracking system
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Moderate experience with Unix/Linux operating system
  • Moderate experience with programming languages such as PHP, Postgres, MySQL, Java is a huge plus
  • Experience with Windows XP and Windows 7
  • Experience with email clients such as Outlook, Windows Live Mail and Thunderbird
  • Leadership experience or potential
  • Problem solver
